A Better Me Assignment #2





This weeks journal prompt is:

I love to eat my favorite snack because…

I love to eat my favorite snack because it helps my sugar craving. What is it? Reese Cups! They are my all time favorite snack. I don't buy them usually because I know I'd eat them. But, Adam loves them too. He's not concerned with his weight, so he buys the all the time. Usually a big bag. So there usually sitting on the counter top. I've been doing pretty good just walking by them this past week. I am proud of myself. Because usually I will eat 4,5,6 pieces, but I've been able to control myself with only 2 if I do break down for one. I can't deny myself because then I crave it even more and eat more than I should. I think it's healthy to respond to a craving, as long as it's moderated.

A Better Me - Assignment #1




List the 10 best things about being you.

This was a hard for me. It's difficult to look at the "Good" side of myself, which I usually don't, but looking at my list, it makes me proud of who I am.

1. I'm always honest
2. I have nice eyes
3. I'm always considerate to other people's feelings
4. I'm a good mom
5. I'm a good daughter
6. I'm a good sister
7. I avoid fighting, arguing or any kind of dispute as much as I can
8. I'm always optimistic & very hopeful
9. I always say "Thank You" because I want people to know I appreciate whatever they did for me.
10. I like to help others out as much as I'm able to.



A Better Me


I've decided to start a weekly journal about me! Each week I'm going to be posting a self esteem or weight related prompt to journal about. I will write down truthfully and look at it throughout the week which will motivate me to become "A Better Me". I encourage others to join me and share with everyone your feelings and thoughts.
