Starting in about 2 weeks I'm going to try something new. I need to lose some weight. It haunts me everyday. I start out good, but by the end of the day I crash. Adam, buy's Reese cups all the time for him. Of course, if I knew that they are in the house, I want them. Reese's is my weakness. Ok, it's time to be honest with myself, I am 32 years old. I am 5'1" (barely), and I weigh 200 pounds. Not sure the exact right now, but will weigh in first thing in the morning. I've posted my picture below. This is what I look like right now. Anyway, Adam ordered the Wii Fit & 5 in 1 kit for me, which should arrive next week. I also ordered the 2009 Weight Watchers Momentum Starter Kit. So with my fingers crossed, I will conquer my weight issues. I tired of living like this and looking FAT. I use to weight 213 pounds, that was the highest I weighed my graduation year, 1994. Then about 7 years later I got to my lowest weight of 140 pounds. So I know it's there, I just got to get to it again. I will be posting my food intake and exercises, whether it's the Wii or Curves or both. I also will track my water intake, 8 glasses.

A Better Me Assignment #3
This week's assignment is to write:
If I quit snacking on junk food…
If I quit snacking on junk food, It would feel like I was not free. When I snack I feel relaxed and happy. Though usually after I ate my snack I don't feel as happy, but guilty. I would definitely lose some weight if I didn't snack on junk food. I would be happier in the long run, and then probably wouldn't even care if I had junk food or not. I would have control over my eating habit, and I would feel more freedom then I did before.

A Better Me Assignment #2
This weeks journal prompt is:
I love to eat my favorite snack because…
I love to eat my favorite snack because it helps my sugar craving. What is it? Reese Cups! They are my all time favorite snack. I don't buy them usually because I know I'd eat them. But, Adam loves them too. He's not concerned with his weight, so he buys the all the time. Usually a big bag. So there usually sitting on the counter top. I've been doing pretty good just walking by them this past week. I am proud of myself. Because usually I will eat 4,5,6 pieces, but I've been able to control myself with only 2 if I do break down for one. I can't deny myself because then I crave it even more and eat more than I should. I think it's healthy to respond to a craving, as long as it's moderated.

Dinner - 2/13
I went to my parents house for dinner. Oh boy, I had 1 pieces of bread with butter, 8oz pork steak, 1/2 cup of corn & 1/4 cup of cottage cheese. I also had a serving of Hot Chocolate.
Mid-Afternoon Snack - 2/13
I've been craving sugar! So I ate a curly doughnut. Then I felt so guilty eating that, still hungry I ate 1 cup of strawberry's. I hate it when I just feel so hungry. It' 3:07 now, so I shouldn't be hungry until Supper time.

One Weigh At A Time 2/10/09
I've been tracking my weight now for 3 weeks. I started at 202.8 and I weighed in yesterday at 199.0. I've lost 3.8 pounds! Yay!
Dinner - 2/11
I wasn't able to take a picture of my dinner, because I had my parents over and didn't get a chance too. But I had 1 cup of homemade spaghetti, 1/2 cup of corn, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese & 1 small slice of garlic bread. I also had 1 serving of coffee with my meal.
