Weekly Weigh In - May 5, 2009


I went up again! Though this time I'm not to surprised. I wasn't so careful last week. I didn't drink that much water and I only worked out twice. My number is going the wrong way! I'm either not taking this seriously, or I'm not paying much attention of what is going in my mouth. By this rate, instead of weighing 180 pounds by the 2nd week of July, I'm going to weigh 215 pounds! I'm so mad at myself. Why can't I just get it!!

I have a hard time with the water. If you see my food journal you will notice I hardly drink any. I don't know why. It's not that I don't like it. I just don't do it. I do know that if I work up a sweat I will drink lots of water. I must work on getting sweaty daily. Hmmmm I'm (188 today) I don't post the photos. I'm still in denial. lol

Dont give up hope! I found a really great, short book-The Power of Small- after reading their tips for life I realized the best way for me to keep my dieting going was NOT to think about the huge goal ahead of me, that seemed impossible. But, to take one meal at a time, make a conscious decision to eat well, or not to eat when I walk by the kitchen and to take a moment and pause at that point in the day when I got to the gym and convince myself I really do have the energy.
